Introduction to Object Oriented Programming
Arguably the most widely-used general-purpose computer programming language, this class introduces the basics of Java programming for the use of command-line and graphics programming. Topics Covered: Variables, user input, operators, control structures, and methods. Coding 101 & 201 required. Students will learn: a) use of methods, strings and characters, b) classes and objects, c) interfaces and user documents.
Skill Level: Beginner and Intermediate
Prerequisite: Coding 101 & Coding 201 required
Software Focus: Java
Class Duration: 1.5 hrs per class, 2x/week for 6 weeks
