This course introduces campers to the LEGO® Mindstorms robotics platform. Campers will choose different machine-style builds and program the devices using the EV3 application. Using block-based programming modules, students will instruct their robot in a variety of tasks; depending on the build, this may include a sorting procedure, pick & place routine, or a balancing algorithm. This class prepares campers to participate in Lego Sensor Coding, Edison Robotics or any of the other hands-on build & code engineering camps. This camp is a collaborative; students are asked to work in pairs.
Drop-off/Pick-up instructions as well as all other camp details will be sent to you during the week prior to the start of camp. We’ll look forward to seeing you this summer. Call us at 303-800-0011 with questions. * If your camper is enrolled in both AM & PM camps this week, they may bring a bag lunch and join us during the lunch hour.
